services at the Salon & Spa, a beautifully
restored historic home in Saco.
Each Salon hair service includes a thorough
consultation, relaxing shampoo and re-conditioning
treatment, followed by a precision cut/color/style.
We provide detailed instructions on how to maintain
the look until the next appointment. We take
great pleasure in knowing the guest is able
to duplicate their look at home.
Each Spa service begins with a thorough consultation.
A customized regimen is created to fulfill all
of your skin and body needs. Personalized attention
will be given at every appointment, including
instruction on how to maintain your skin and
body wellness at home.
HISTORY—THEN AND NOW:
Acapello Salon was founded in
1995, with its first location in Falmouth
Maine. Within nine years, the company has
grown to four locations.
In 2000 Acapello's second location opened in
Maine’s fastest growing suburb, Scarborough.
After becoming an Aveda salon, it was reborn
as a high-end salon with moderate pricing and
a superior technical team specializing in hair
color.
Acapello's brother company, The Mensroom Salon
and Lounge, Maine’s only exclusive men’s
salon, was established in 2004 in downtown Portland.
In 2006, Acapello opened a full-service Aveda
Salon and Spa in the beautiful historic district
of downtown Saco, Maine.
OWNER'S PHILOSOPHY:
A guest should be able to experience
high quality service and products without
leaving one’s hometown. The Acapello
Salons and Spa are independently owed and
operated by June Juliano, a hairstylist, entrepreneur,
educator, and active TSA member. June believes
in creating a team that shares the company
vision to partner with professionals that
are high achievers, and to service guest beyond
their expectations.
OUTSIDE THE BOX:
Servicing guests beyond their
expectations requires being continuously committed
to professional development. Traveling for
education is just part of the responsibility
inherent in being on the Acapello team. Minimum
education requirements must be met annually
to maintain a position in the company. Involvement
in community service is another rite with
a minimum annual requirement. By volunteering
and donating to various community outreach
programs we have the ability to touch the
lives of others even when they are unable
to step foot inside the salon.

In the stereotypical salon setting,
clients can feel as though they must only ever
see one team member for all of their needs.
At Acapello, we understand that our pros' schedules
may not always fit those of our guests. We also
know that sometimes a guest just needs a change.
We respect the need for our guests to be accommodated
at their convenience. With this philosophy we
welcome our guests to experience as many of
our salon and spa pros as they would like.
